Also im looking in adding some supplements to my diet NO-Xplode NT,Epozine O2 NT,CellMass,Syntha6(protien shake). I will post befor and after pic once i get time ive been pc lazy here lately. But so far i have gone from 220(starting wieght) to 197 and now back to 205. The 205 has come on this past week and a half. Its also the same time i added a full hr each day at the gym lifting so im hoping that its all lean mass. Also i now find i dont crave soda or sugery things like i used to all day.
Awesome job bud, joining the gym and sticking to it should bring good results and on the lazy days (we all deserve some lazy days) you have the T-200 (not to be confused with the T-1000) at home.
These are the ONLY supplements i recommend:
-Protein Shake
-Multi-vitamin
-Coffee
The others like No-Xplode, to me, is just expensive and not necessary. I used it for Muay Thai and in reality it did no better than a simple cup of coffee. If you want an energy boost, just get some cheap caffeine pills. I used to drink 1-2 espresso shots right before training and it made quite a difference.
MMA takes a different kind of body conditioning than body building BUT since from what i see you are trying to lose weight and gain muscle, i can attest that caffeine will do just as well for the gym. I use it when i do weight training and it works quite well without the added sugars/carbs those "energy" drinks can give you.
For protein this is what i use: http://www.vitaminshoppe.com/store/en/browse/sku_detail.jsp?id=OP-1048 the double chocolate tastes delicious and it is not sugary (the link is for banana, fastest one i found). It is also a cheap protein product and it comes with some aminos that you will need. I understand there might be some better, more expensive proteins out there but for the money and the flavor, this is the one that suits me.
Multi-vitamin: http://www.amazon.com/Universal-Nutrition-Animal-Pak-pckt/dp/B00024D5F6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=hpc&qid=1265984089&sr=8-1
Complete multi-vitamin with some overkill. I take these on my workout days and unload on my rest days. Yes, i'm a cheapskate but this system works for me. I take 1000mg vitamin-C every day though, split in 2 doses through the day.
